after having the privilege of being there for sawyer’s birth, I was so glad when his family brought him into the studio for an official newborn session.
My first thought when I saw him was that he had changed so much already…and he was only nine days old! I was so happy to capture these first...

What sort of light setup do you use? I’m looking to do some more off camera flash and wonder what’s a good way to start. Already have one 580exII and a 25ft ettl cord (I’ll go wireless later). Can you recommend any light stands, umbrellas or soft boxes to start off with?
